Rep. Jason Chaffetz indeed was pulled out of a normal security line and told to enter what he calls a "strip search" machine at Salt Lake International Airport, according to TSA reports obtained by the Deseret News.
Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff stunned Utah politicians Wednesday by abruptly dropping out of the U.S. Senate race, saying he needs time to work with a struggling daughter.
Former Salt Lake Mayor Ted Wilson, a Democrat, joined GOP Gov. Gary Herbert's staff Wednesday as a senior adviser on environmental matters.
