Parking rates for Salt Lake City relatively low, survey finds

Now that this study shows we aren't paying enough to park in the city compared to the rest of the nation it will be justification to raise parking costs. Who cares about other states? We live in this state under hard rock government control. The main reason for this flurry of studies is to find new resources.

This state is spending more money to find new ways to tax instead of the obvious task of cutting spending and services. A new loss has been discovered and now it must be corrected with higher fees so we in Utah can't be below national rates, even on slave wages.

I guess the body count of illegals is more important than having pride in being an american. Being a traitor to the people who elect them has no meaning. And for this illegal body count they need more money to subsidize it.

How about a study to compare Utah incomes and cost of living, just in this state. All we ask for is to keep a dollar in our pocket for an occasional apple.

personally I avoid downtown.
One main reason is that I have to pay anything to park.
I usually take trax if there is some event I want to go to.
Do not shop there though. Why would I when there are so many other places to shop that do not charge.

raise the costs of parking or make it less convenient to shop downtown, people will go elsewhere.
