What!? Boise State vs USU the game of the week?? Don't you mean the blowout of the week? If anything, the game of the week should be BYU vs Air Force. C'mon the Air Force will give the Y all they want and then some.

who would want to see that. besides the WAC has games on ESPN every week for the entire nation to see

while the mtn wst teams play on a local channel that no one has.

at least usu is getting national exposure. the only way a mtn west team can get on espn is a bowl game.

how many home games did byu/utah get on espn this yr?

Maybe you've noticed, but a MWC team is ranked #4 in the BCS. Without the help of ESPN, without having to play Thursday night games that don't get nearly as much national exposure as you think.

When a MWC women's soccer semifinal game gets significant airtime in the national media, you've got to admit that the MTN has the potential to increase national exposure.

When a MWC team plays a team from the ESPN conference family they can get on National TV, but never a BYU vs Utah that will be saved for the Football powerhouse intermountian west cities!

Also, I am amazed at the arrogance of QB Wynn as he prepares this week and next week against BYU.

Wynn speaking to the press:

"I probably won't face another defense like that (TCU) until we play them again next year. So things will probably really start slowing down now."

So college gameday 3 out of 4 weeks isn't exposure, your right. And Im actually the Easter bunny, and the WAC Is a great conference.

The only thing on the loose is you grip on reality!! I am a Ute fan and agree with something "Herby" Pointed out during last weeks Gameday.. He basicly said that TCU might be the best team in the country this year, and Utah may have been last year, but nobody knew that because it's hard for most of the people who vote on it to see thier games.... and I have directv... so I'll miss thiss week again!! THANK YOU MWC!!!!!

Who wrote this stupid article... I haven't heard that saying since 6th grade. Air Force is a very determined and disciplined team... BYU is not. This game will be decided by less than a touchdown.

The record speaks for itself:

BYU is 23-6 versus Air Force, including winning the last 5 in a row.

2004 @AFA 41-24
2005 AFA 62-41
2006 @AFA 33-14
2007 AFA 31-6
2008 @AFA 38-24

Air Force is always tough, but BYU always seems to play well against the Falcons and the score is usually not that close.

Only three of the 29 games have been decided by less than a touchdown and BYU won two of those games:

1972 AFA 12-10
1982 AFA 38-39
1984 @AFA 30-25

Explain to me how telling the truth is arrogance. TCU's defense is ranked 8th in the nation. SDSU is 94 and BYU is 38. Maybe he took it a little far when he included next year because who knows what next year will bring. But if things remain anywhere close, since AFA defense this year is ranked 9 he may see one close to TCU.

Will Boise State over look Utah State for the big showdown with Nevada. Nevada is the other team that is undefeated in the WAC and is on a 7 game winning streak? 5 of those wins were by 23 or more points. The closest was a 3 point come from behind win over Utah State.

But, this is about Utah and I suspect Utah will have not have significant trouble with San Diego State.

I can't believe some Boise State fans get on here mouthing off. If they played in the mountain West they would have a couple of losses by now and nobody would be talking about them at all. "Face it" Boise State the Wac is terrible and even worse than the MWC and that is saying something ! Enjoy your victory over Utah State, they are a real powerhouse. Oh yea, and the wrankings don't mean crapp. Spouting off wrankings is like saying, "some people out there think we are better than you so why don't you just concede the victory".
