I have a list of "things" people don't really need. Fancy cell phones is at the top of that list. With the economic disparity, it good to know that capitalism is alive and well. Phones that give you half of what a laptop, or home computer can give you, as long as you know your fantasy team news, stocks update, or just the ability to know worthless knowledge is a credit for human knowledge? Hey, their getting better with the pictures too. At 250.00 a pop, your getting a deal, until next month when something is coming that blows the doors off of what YOU have. Capitalism, the down fall of AMERICA!!!

Unfettered, free market, anything goes principles is what has led to the GLOBAL economic crash. There has to be a balance between government "interference" and free market principles otherwise, everyone would be hosed.

The markets have not been free and unfettered. Government regulation is every where in our lives. The reason many companies acted the way they did is because they knew that the government would bail them out. True capitalism would protect shareholders interests. Who is regulating the government, look at the mess it is in.

Must be nice for the Tyler Farrells of the world to have money to throw away on these things when he, like probably a large percentage of iPhone users the past couple of years, have no pressing reason to own these gadgets in the first place. Farrell is not cool, he is foolish and maybe a bit immature.

Some spend money on new gadgets, some on a decent looking hairdo.
