Interesting that these two teachers grew up in a period where Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher" was a hit record. The conduct was immortalized and "encouraged by the lyrics". I think the lawyers should create a case based on being mislead and influenced by the evil music that they grew up with.

The teacher just gets off with a slap on the wrist anyways. In Utah they might as well have a big banner out in front of every school unfortunately,,, stating, "You live in the State of Utah, unlike Texas, we don't punish you as severely for having sex with our students. Proceed with some caution if you are male, and if you are female, proceed with hmm ? well, just proceed. And remember if all else fails, plea the so called Alford deal".

I find it strange your blaming the teachers instead of the student. Two different teachers one student. I can't help but wonder if the student is the one behind it.

SO??? The other teacher in this case got 3 years to life and she pleaded guilty and did not waste much of my tax payer money The judge closed the book on her for taking responsibility for her actions.

I hope this one gets 10 years to like and has to pay restitution for wasting the courts time

why do people keep insisting a 14 yr. old in puberty has better decision making skills than 2 adult women?
