I am dissapointed to read yet another case of prosecutors offering plea and abeyance options for violent offenders. This is an outrageous abuse of the system, and ultimately leads to more violence. A plea in abeyance deal is something to be used in traffic court and lesser NON-VIOLENT crimes. When will our prosecutors and judges learn this??
