Ford denied the stimulus money and now they are prospering, but not if the UAW has anything to say about it...the UAW is mobilizing their thugs to strong arm the company into self destructing so that GREEDY union workers can get their money. FIRE THE UNIONS!

Um, no Ford got lucky because they were on the verge of bankruptcy BEFORE the recession. They made the exact same mistakes as the other two. The mortgaged all the factories and the name of the company. In short, their early bad luck helped them barely dodge a bullet. You need to get more educated before talking about a subject.

Anon is nameless and clueless. Product development is a several year cycle. The new (and great) Fords we see for 2010 started a few years ago (long before BO stunk up the economy). Let the free market provide the cars for consumers to choose and buy. Ford is doing well today because it avoided the government yesterday. Clear lesson for us: enjoy tomorrow; cut taxes and the government today.

Sorry, you are WRONG, Ford was in the middle of restructuring BEFORE the recession hit and had MORE marketable vehicles on the market.

This has nothing to do with the government, it has everything to do with Ford getting in trouble financially first and restructuring sooner.

You anti government people need to call off your dogs on this one.

I am a conservative but I am smart enough to read up on what Ford did instead of attacking and sounding clueless.

Go back and read the news stories.

I am a Ford SHAREHOLDER so I am aware of their issues.

Ford still owes $21 Billion $ to investors. They are not making money.

Atlas and Success without Obama, you have no clue. The company is still not out of the clear.

They have only managed to stave off bankruptcy by mortgaging EVERYTHING. Why don't you two do some homework before posting something you have no idea about just because you don't like the President?

GM sales are up for this quarter also. Looks Atlas and Success without Obama are just plain making things up.
