May I just say that I think these weekly "Rock On" bits are actually quite stupid. It would be a good idea if they were actually funny or even if occasionally there was one that made someone even crack a smile. A waste of space. Find something else to print or get someone who is funny to write them.

Oh yesssssssssss........why don't we go to boring stats and classroom writing for all of our articles. As a 30-year career journalist...let me say that people like you just don't get it. Columns, whether they're sports, politics or whatever...are written to generate opinions...both for and against. Your own expressed opinion is proof enough. Some of Brad's topics in "Rock On" may be goofy sometimes, but you try and do something weekly for years perfectly, or hit a home run on every swing...or complete a touchdown with every pass. Overall he does a great job...and gives an amusing way to digest bits and pieces of information. Brad "The Cat" Rock has been good at doing this since he was a pimply-faced teenager. We're lucky to have him.

In understand you probably know Brad Rock & he is probably a very witty guy. I don't know him other than reading his writing. Overall he does a great job. I just don't find the "Rock On" bits that funny. That's my opinion.
