What else? | 3:24 p.m. Oct. 8, 2009
If it comes from hollywood then you can count on about 95% of it being trash.

When you constantly seek the lowest common denominator it is tough to come up with something entertaining.

People ought to get a clue and stop wasting their money on movies like this so Hollywood stops making them.

Then again I guess there are too many stupid people who actually think this trash is entertaining. I guess it might be if your IQ is sub 50.

Sounds interesting. I think I'll go see it.

Too vulgar? | 4:01 p.m. Oct. 8, 2009
I wasn't going to see this movie, but now I think I shall!

What else is absolutely right. This so-called entertainment production is conclusive proof that our society is continuing to degenerate to ever lower levels. This movie has a ridiculous story, bad acting, and juvenile antics. In addition, it contains vulgarity, profanity, drugs, torture, brief sex, and slurs. It is outrageous that Hollywood would market a movie solely to teenagers and children that contains such garbage. With modern Hollywood's continued promotion of immorality, greed, and selfishness, it is no wonder that society is such a mess. There was a time in this Country when Hollywood promoted positive values. Apparently, that time has passed.

Well, my IQ is 132 and I was invited to the preview screening in LA by a production staff member.

Yes there is vulgarity, some nudity and sexual innuendo. So if that is a problem for you, don't go see it.

But, if you want to laugh as I did, you will enjoy it.

I don't understand how so many people all the sudden are against Hollywood? It's not like Hollywood just recently started making "trash" movies. "Oh, Hollywood only makes trash, blah, blah, blah." To those of us who actually watch movies instead of complaining on the net all day about them can take the good with the bad. If you don't want to see it then don't see it, frankly we don't give a crap what you have to say.

"If it comes from hollywood then you can count on about 95% of it being trash."

When it comes to any art or entertainment you can count on about 95% of it being trash. That's been true throughout history.

To What Else: Thank you, I'm going to go see it right now. To John Charity Spring: I'm going to take my kids and teens to see it too.

Did you know this movie was directed by Peter Billingsly better known as "Ralphie" from A Christmas Story? All grown up.
To Terry | 9:15 a.m. Oct. 9, 2009
I feel bad for your kids.

John Charity Spring, they are still out there. Every year there are really great movies and half the time they are ignored. If you have a picture of some golden age when Hollywood was virtuous, you're mistaken. It's always been pretty sleazy. Have you actually seen the trailer? It is clearly not marketed at children. It's called Couples Retreat, for goodness sake.

Does anybody else notice that most critics don't even know what they are talking about? Amazes me they even have that job! They need to let real movie goers critic the films.
PNZ | 1:51 p.m. Oct. 9, 2009
Hey John Charity Spring, have you seen the show? You cant say a show is trash if you havent seen it. You can talk about mormon movies and I have seen a lot of them and they are poorly made with sappy writing and horrible writing. This show wasnt made for you so dont watch it. I doubt 98% of hollywood movies are trash. Another stat for you the higher the education level a person has the more they stay away from religion. IQ score is the same also. Why is that? "Blind Faith is the crutch of fools" do you know who said that.
Michael | 12:16 a.m. Oct. 12, 2009
Say what you will... this film is trash. Morality, etc. aside it's just a poorly made film. The writing is pathetic. The story line is ludicrous. Just a bad film. Hey, it happens. In all genres. Vote with your feet. Don't watch it. There are a lot better films out there. At the rental store and in the theaters.
FPT | 10:27 a.m. Oct. 12, 2009
There were some 'dirty' parts in the movie but the movie was very funny. The theater I went to was packed and we were all laughing throughout the whole film. I don't remember the last movie I saw where the whole theater was cracking up like that. Good show!
Kels | 1:18 p.m. Oct. 12, 2009
I thought it was hilarious and so did my wife. There were some parts that were crude however overall I thought it had a good story line and was extremely funny. We saw it at the Megaplex and it was packed, and the whole place was laughing throughout the movie. Of course it's not for everyone, but people who like comedy and vince vaughn will love it.

PNZ, quote your source on the higher education and IQ thing. I think you just threw that in. Most of what you said had no relevance so it's obvious that you are a very religious person by your standard.
