High school football: Big second half lifts Miners over Colts

I'm also really enjoying the way Ty is throwing the ball and Fakrell (sp?) is catching. Chris (88) is big time as well. And our big line (offense and defense) and stud linebackers....your size and power wears people down every week. Keep it up guys...it will get tougher in a few weeks and would love to see all you guys with nice rings.
Coach Thomas has good athletes.
It shows that the best Athletes on CW are on Offense and if CW wants to move deep into the playoffs some Big Changes need to be made on Defense with the Corners, outside Linebackers and Safety as they are always getting burned. Good Luck CW as this was a game you were supposed to lose anyway. Win out in Region and hopefully you will get a rematch with Bingham in the playoffs.
Good Job Bingham, I'm rooting for you guys in Texas. We've lost our last two games :( "
Sorry to hear things aren't going so well for your team. Hopefully, your players have learned lessons from those losses and will use them to get back to winning. I'm sure our guys came home from Dallas having learned a few lessons that have made them a better team. Good luck Trojans.
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WIN, MINERS!
I was surprised to hear the CW kids were trash-talking on the field. I was also surprised when I took a restroom break at halftime. I heard several LAME comments from CW fans to the Bingham players as they came out for the second half.
No need for that.
I heard 2-3 other comments a little more worse than that. Not one Bingham kid even looked to the side. I knew right then, they were focused and it might get ugly. You might not want to add any fuel to the fire next time.
Of course they're going to be commenting here. They sure can't brag about anything back home, can they?
As I left the theater at the District, the Fox Sports South commentators were talking about how teams from every state have some difficulties with the rules Texas high school football games are played under. They also mentioned that Texas teams have similar difficulty when they play in other states.
As so many have said, I'd also like to see Trinity come to Utah to play Bingham. I expect it won't happen but I'd like to see how they deal with the rules that govern Utah high school football and the altitude.
Until Trinity can beat another Texas school, they're going to be tooting their horns about their sole win, while Bingham wins game after game here in little old Utah.
Until the playoffs start, Bingham should easily win against their Region 3 opponents.
I honestly hope at least one of them gives Bingham a good game. Riverton seems to be the biggest threat but not much of one if the Miners stay focused and keep their heads in the game.
