Ponder has completed 134 passes in 2 games? Methinks that 1 is misleading...
defense | 1:02 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
I hope BYU's defense will be able to make Ponder feel like he's running a peewee team. This could be a tough game but I think the Cougars will come away with the W.

GO COUGARS!!!!!!!
Little Jimmy Brady | 1:19 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
BYU will lose this week. TCU is the team from the MWC that will go to the BCS this year. The Y has been lucky so far but TCU is a far better team and will win a bowl game. Give it up Zoobs you're just not that good.

MWC Championship | 1:32 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
goes through Provo. If you don't win in Provo, you don't win the championship.
Little Jimmy | 1:40 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
Go back to bed little man, it's late and you have a big day at school tomorrow. 6th grade is very demanding and you need all the rest you can get.

If you want a good laugh read Dick's stuff every day. There is always at least one mistake to chuckle about.
They were lucky? | 1:42 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
Jimmy:
Byu was lucky against Tulane? I was there and 54-3 could have been a lot worse. Lucky against Oklahoma? Bradford didn't trip down the stairs and get hurt. He was playing football and got injured against a defense that held his team to 10 points in the first half. BYU will be 3-0 on saturday night.

TCU is solid and will be a great game. Someone will represent the BCS from the MWC this year.
replyLittle Jimmy Brady | 1:45 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
Lucky? Huh, a 54-3 slaughtering of Tulan seems pretty lucky to me, and I will give you the OU game, but come on little JB, TCU could very well be the best team fromt he MWC, there not ranked as high, and they will lose when they come to Provo this year, where BYU hasn't lost since 3 season ago.
MiP | 4:26 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
Formerly 18th ranked Florida St? Dick's really playing this one up. That's like formerly 14th ranked Oregon. Come on, it was a preseason poll.
UteFan | 6:33 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
How does this article have anything to do with the mighty Utes? What, no mention of Utah? Little brother BYU is always mentioned in conjunction with Utah. Dick, you are losing your mind.
BYU Texan | 7:53 p.m. Sept. 16, 2009
The Utes? Are you serious? This is the Cougars year. If you haven't noticed we are rolling....

I grew up in the same town as these 2 boys. What a cool story. Texas has always produced many of the best players in the country.

UteFan is everywhere. You are a funny man
Great story | 7:12 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
Great story Mr. Harmon! Definitely sold the paper today.
Is Utah still playing football? I haven't noticed them for several years then suddenly I hear they beat USU. WIll miracles never cease?
I sense another QUEST | 9:08 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
BYU fans are quite funny. Last year we had the spiritually charged motto of "Quest for Perfection," this year we have the Quest for Stupidity as Cougar fans show they are just as gullible and start popping off after going 2-0? Oh well lil' Cougars I guess you still have 1984:)

Point being to hold the NC talk until you have atleast made it halfway through the season OR DON'T and continue to prove why you are the most spiritually charged fan base around, isn't it wonderful:)

Go Cougars! 1984 baby!
RE: Great story | 9:16 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
You haven't noticed them for several years? I guess you've just been able to put the beat-down they gave your Cougars 10 months ago out of your mind, along with their dominant performance against a top SEC team in the Sugar Bowl and #2 ranking.
B | 9:41 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
Ute fans stick to ute articles, coug fans stick to coug articles. If you dont like the article dont read it.
Re: QUEST @ 9:08 | 9:53 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
The funny thing is your the ONLY one on this comment board to mention anything about a NC or quest or anything so far... So i am not sure where you are coming from.
Re: MiP | 10:54 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
you mean the same pre-season polls that charged you to #7? That's the ONLY reason why you are up there. Don't tell me that one eeked out win against a down OK team and a blowout of one of the worst teams in the country warrants a #7 ranking. But hey, when you are pre-season ranked, pouring it on against Tulane for stats and show (where do you think the term "Pour it on Lavell" came from?)and your fans are writing the voters, of course you'll get to #7. So, everytime someone reference your ranking, I'll just echo you and say "Come on, it was a preseason poll." Try refuting that one.
LV COUG | 11:27 a.m. Sept. 17, 2009
Great article. Shows some background research and a heart warming article about two buddies on a Pee Wee team making it to the big time. Having coached youth sports for the past 8 years it makes me wonder if I will be pulling out the old digital photo album to review photos of some of the kids I have had the good fortune to work with as they move on to bigger and better things...As for the game this Saturday it will be electric in Lavell's house and the Cougs will eek out a hard fought victory. GO COUGS!
same town ? | 3:35 p.m. Sept. 17, 2009
How could you have grown up in the same town? 1 of them is from Cville and the other from Southlake.
UteFan | 9:46 a.m. Sept. 18, 2009
BYU fan exposed for lying. I bet you have a mustache too. Are your shorts long enough? Do you kiss on the first date?
real ute fan | 11:37 a.m. Sept. 19, 2009
good luck kittys, to your credit you deserve the praise and the ranking. when i say im a real ute fan i mean it. to be a real ute fan you have to be a fan of utah sports. Im pulling for the local guys that will get a chance to represent the state of utah. just like im glad to see Fahu, Haloti, cooley, kruger and many more utah boys represent in the league. im predicting fahu is a pro bowl pick this year. AP gets way more yards when Fahu is in...
