Perhaps it takes an ethnic president to put some gusto into the nation's concern for ethnic groups.
When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Indonesia earlier this year, she said: "If you want to know whether Islam, democracy, modernity and women's rights can coexist, come to Indonesia."
When one family member suffers from a chronic illness, the entire family is affected. The same is certainly true of mental illness.
