CLEARFIELD — An Ogden woman died in a rollover Sunday that sent three people to the hospital and backed up traffic for miles on Interstate 15.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers say a Chevy Cobalt was traveling south on I-15 near 650 North in Clearfield when the driver and front seat passenger fought, causing the driver to drift the car and over-correct, and rolling the vehicle into the center median about 4:30 p.m.

Monica Waterfall, 38, was in a rear passenger seat and was ejected. She died on scene, UHP said.

The driver was flown in critical condition to a nearby hospital, and the other two passengers were taken by ambulance to local hospitals with non-threatening injuries, according to UHP troopers.

UHP troopers reported traffic was one lane in each direction and that traffic was backed up for several hours. Other minor crashes occurred because of traffic stopping for the fatal crash, UHP said.

UHP reported that drugs might have been a factor in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
