Police arrested 160 demonstrators Saturday outside an abortion clinic, breaking up the state's second major anti-abortion "rescue operation" in a month.

Demonstrators resisted being moved by going limp and had to be carried off by police, who made 160 arrests during the protest at the Hartford Gynecological Center, police Capt. Charles Grasso said."Just about every one of them had to be carried away," Grasso said as police officers stood watch in the area. A few remaining protestors continued to picket quietly after the arrests were made.
